The Role
Join an award-winning software consultancy that helps organisations design, build, and scale innovative digital solutions. As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll bridge the gap between business vision and technical delivery — collaborating with clients, engineers, and product teams to turn complex challenges into structured, scalable solutions.

You’ll play a hands-on role in requirements gathering, backlog management, and client workshops, ensuring solutions are aligned with business goals and deliver measurable value. This position suits someone who thrives on problem-solving and stakeholder collaboration within Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients to understand business objectives and translate them into actionable technical requirements.

  • Develop and maintain detailed backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria in Jira or Azure DevOps.

  • Facilitate client workshops and discovery sessions to elicit and refine requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solution design aligns with business outcomes.

  • Lead backlog refinement, roadmap planning, and sprint review sessions.

  • Produce flow diagrams, user journey maps, and wireframes to communicate system functionality.

  • Support UAT, helping ensure high-quality, user-focused deliverables.

  • Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices across teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst within software or digital delivery environments.

  • Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the SDLC.

  • Proven experience defining and managing product backlogs and user stories.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, and Figma.

  • Experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and process improvement.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead client-facing workshops and presentations.

  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.

Benefits

  • €70,000–€80,000 base salary (DOE)

  • 25 days annual leave plus public holidays

  • Health and life insurance
